P.S. Saminathan, Group Chairman, Pyramid Saimira

Mr P.S. Saminathan is Chairman of the Pyramid Saimira Group, Aurona’s parent company that he has transformed into one of the fastest growing entertainment corporations in the world through a combination of acquisitive and organic growth. He is a visionary in the entertainment and digital convergence domain, with eighteen years experience in techno-commercial ventures. He has previously held senior roles at Value Added Funds Management Limited, a private equity fund, M/s Jupiter Traders, a cable TV Multi System Operator in Chennai and M/s Aquastride, a consultancy organisation specialising in biosciences. Subsequently, Mr Saminathan promoted Saimira Access Technologies, a company that pioneered digital cable services in India. He started his career as an aquaculture economist and later became venture capitalist. He is a commerce graduate from Loyola College, Chennai and a qualified cost accountant.
